In 1997, three local Christian businessmen, visited a Christian Chamber of Commerce on the East coast of Florida. He then shared that experience with two other Christian businessmen from Fort Myers Florida. These three businessmen felt led by God to start a similar Chamber organization in Southwest Florida, one that would allow like minded Christian business men and women to network together to develop their businesses and give God the glory. PRESIDENT OF COMPASS DRUG SCREENING

Jenna has spent many years in the field of education and ministry to children and teens. She is now the president of Compass Drug Screening and has a heart to impact her community through drug education and training for businesses in need of support for substance abuse issues. She has partnered with Teen Challenge and the Lee County Drug-Free Coalition in efforts to use her family’s business to benefit Fort Myers. Compass can write Drug-Free Workplace Policies, can train supervisors in reasonable suspicion awareness, can educate students and employees on substances and substance abuse, and can do drug-testing. 

Synopsis of presentation:

Ready or not, medical marijuana is added to our list of issues to deal with in the workplace. What will it do to your right to enforce a drug-free workplace? The specifics of how the laws will be interpreted are not clear yet but there are steps you can take to hit the issue head on and be prepared if you must legally defend your desire to have a drug-free workplace. We will learn what the law does and does not address and how to insulate our companies from discrimination accusations. You will leave with practical tips for how to prepare for this change in our culture.
